"As the olives from the garden of Gethsemane were pressed or crushed to produce olive oil, so was Jesus crushed in the garden as he was given over to the Roman Empire. But in this crushing and his eventual death on the cross we are lead to the outpouring of the Spirit and the healing and joy that the resurrection brings."
